As the scope of Delta's CSR expands over time, we have adjusted the structure of Delta's CSR organization to ensure that Delta's commitment to sound corporate governance, stakeholders' interests and environmental protection are fully met.
The CSR Board is the top CSR organization within Delta. Chaired by our founder Mr. Bruce Cheng, board members include Delta Electronics' Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer as well as top executives for China and Thailand. It is the responsibility of this board to build Delta's CSR vision, review CSR policies and supervise its performance.
The CSR Board currently oversees the Green Product Committee, the Green Operation and Health & Safety Committee, and the Human Resources Committee. These three task forces are made up of the heads or representatives of business groups and site directors. Their responsibility is to develop Delta's CSR policies and indicators, assign coordinators for subordinate working groups, overlook working groups' performance, and report to CSR Board. Each working group under the Committees contains personnel from business divisions, factories or relevant departments to ensure total implementation. The organization is shown below.
In addition, Delta Electronics Foundation, also founded by Mr. Cheng, plays an important role in Delta's CSR organization. Since its establishment in 1990, the mission of the foundation has been to promote sustainable development of society through the promotion of environmental protection, technological innovation and education. The foundation has been quite successful in this area.
